Here you will find my music, writings, and ramblings. Music is self-explanatory, I hope.
However, to give more detail, here is where you will find my music as not released through the alias project Jake and the Library.
Perhaps writings and ramblings need clarification.
Writings are words I feel have gone through enough refining to assign them some monetary value. Your purchase (should you choose to purchase) is greatly appreciated. If you don't think it's worth it, don't buy it. Go buy a sandwich instead. A slightly pricey sandwich is always a good investment if you're unsure how to spend your money. This financial advice I offer free of charge.
Ramblings are the less scrutinized words, the knee jerk reactions, a blog, I must confess, though I hope to escape the infamous connotations surrounding the medium, these being the trivial, contrived, rehashing of old ideas in a new bolder-faced font. Someone at the bottom of a well, yelling to those who observe from above. He hopes they will lend him a rope to escape the endless echoes, but all they do is pour buckets of water on his head.
Know that whether it be a writing or a rambling, all words are an invitation to conversation. And I expect, if you are here, that you will join me.
I hope that in the words and sounds you encounter here and elsewhere you are lead to the remnant and find yourself as a shadow or in the shadow. Soon, you may find yourself in the presence of a wholeness or in the light that burns at the edges of the shadow. Either way, I thank you for joining me here while I search for this wholeness and light, treading a path on the broken pieces, the word, my guide, its light eclipsed by the dust of the earth and the lesser lights of lesser suns.
Peace and love always,
Wil
